Lets Fix Those Ceiling & Wall Cracks!

Patching a thin ceiling crack is a relative simple repair. You’ll need to use a compound either the powder or the pre-mixed. Typically you’ll buy it pre-mixed. You’ll need to widen the crack first by using the end of your putty  knife. Just draw the point along the crack with firm even pressure. Then dampen the new opening. Next you need to force  spackle into the crack with a putty knife or a trowel and smooth the surface. Let it dry completely, then sand, and paint.

If you find your crack is a bit large. We suggest you use some compound tape by placing some compound on the crack itself, then follow with the tape! be sure to cover your tape to a nice and smooth. This way it will not show when you paint.
