  The 72-mile America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride circumnavigates the highways clockwise around Lake Tahoe in both Nevada and California. It includes a challenging 800 foot climb to a rest stop overlooking Emerald Bay and a 1,000 foot climb to Spooner Junction. There are also many short rolling ascents and descents totaling over 2,600 vertical feet of elevation gain! The altitude ranges between 6,300 feet and 7,100 feet above sea level and the ride is recommended for conditioned recreational bicyclist, not for beginners. Participants must be at least 14 years of age (please, no children on bike carriers or trailers) and must be experienced in riding roadways. Clcik hear for more information

Month of July

 Lake Tahoe's 4th of July fireworks. Best firework show you will ever see! Very loud event as the explosions bounce right off the mountain walls. Get to the beach early for this event to get a great seat.

 This is a great event to see the movie stars and sports stars play rounds of golf at Edgewood golf course. You may have seen this event on ESPN and NBC Sports. After you watch them play golf. You can always catch stars at the casinos. Click hear for more information

 For more than 25 years, people have spread out on the pristine beaches with wine and cheese, and enjoyed the Bard at his best. This year, it promises to be better than ever, with the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival's feature production of the dramatic Othello, balanced nicely with Twelfth NIght. We are also going to be having performances seven nights a week with the addition of The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (abridged) - where 37 of Shakespeare's plays are condensed into two hilarious hours on stage. Lake Tahoe -- Big Blue, as it is referred to by many -- is North America’s Largest Alpine Lake and the Jewel of the High Sierra ... and the Reno Tahoe Territory of the Nevada Commission on Tourism and Bike the West invites you to experience the adventure of riding your bicycle around her 72-mile shoreline by participating in the 4th Annual Tour de Tahoe – Bike Big Blue.
